The Fablio bus network serves a large number of municipalities in the Communauté d'Agglomération de la région de Château-Thierry (CARCT), in the Aisne department in the Hauts-de-France region. It includes, among other transport services:
- a shuttle service,
- school transport,
- a transport-on-demand service,
The Fablio bus network includes 4 regular lines with journeys taking between 30 and 60 minutes:
- Line 1: SNCF train station - SNCF train station
- Line 2: Bézu-Saint-Germain - Nogentel town hall
- Line 3: SNCF train station - Aquatic centre
- Line 4: Blesmens D1003 - Essomes Vaux
The buses of the network run through the 87 municipalities of the Communauté d'Agglomération de la région de Château-Thierry. This allows you to travel to towns such as Essomes-sur-Marne, Chierry, Étampes-sur-Marne or Brasles. The price of tickets and season tickets is adjusted to your personal situation and your way of travelling (occasional or regular). There are 8 points of sale spread over several towns including Château-Thierry and Neuilly-Saint-Front.
The Fablio bus network also provides a school transport service. It is intended for pupils attending school and living in one of the municipalities of the Communauté d'Agglomération de la région de Château-Thierry. This allows primary school, middle school and high school pupils to travel to school with their classmates. Registration requests may be made via the Internet or by post.
The Fablio bus network includes a transport-on-demand (TOD) service. The latter allows users to travel to 22 municipalities. The 12 TOD proximity lines can be used with the same transport tickets as the rest of the network lines. They have all the characteristics of a conventional line with a route including predefined stops and timetables. However, TOD lines only run if they are booked in advance. The booking can only be made by phone with a hostess who will inform you and register your request.
The Fablio bus network also includes the Flexo Fablio service. In the morning, you can travel to the station to take the Transiliens trains as well as the TER Vallée de la Marne towards Paris Est. The booking is made by phone and you can book your routes on a weekly basis. In the evening, Flexo lines are available to take you home. A bus waits for you at the Château-Thierry train station and then takes you to the desired Flexo stop. Just inform the driver of the stop you want to get off. The latter will then take the best route.
Flexago is an innovation that allows you to book your transport-on-demand online 24 hours a day. The advantages of this service are varied: you book your journey for several days, you make a single booking for several people and you receive a reminder 1 hour before your journey.
The CARCT transport network regularly creates new services to optimise the lines and best meet the expectations of all passengers. Your administrative procedures and your journeys are thus facilitated. Your journey times are also optimised and are therefore shorter.
